Robert Lee Norris (Bob)
March 20, 1933 – March 3, 2016 Robert Lee Norris, age 82, of Spring Hill, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2016.He was a native of Fayette, AL and was the only son of Newton and Elvie Norris of Fayette, AL.
Preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter, Susan.Bob is survived by his wife, Melba; step children, Wayne Gentry (Marie), Lynn Solomon (Hoyal) and Benjie Gentry (Misti); seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sons, Robert Norris (Janet), Scott Norris (Glenda) and daughter Rebecca Miller; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.A native of Fayette, AL, Bob graduated in Engineering from Auburn University, a member of Eta Kappa Nu, a national engineering honor society and Sigma Pi. He served in the United States Air Force. Before moving to Spring Hill, TN, he retired from engineering in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Spring Hill, TN.A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Spring Hill, TN.
Visitation 10 am – 11 am, with service following. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or your favorite charity.
