Robert Stock

Robert Douglas Stock, age 54, of White House, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee on 03 June 2023. He was born in San Jose, California on 24 July 1968 and moved to Seattle, Washington after completing his education. After nearly a decade in Seattle, he settled down in Wethersfield, Connecticut. He moved to White House, Tennessee in May 2022.

Rob was employed as a Senior Business Systems Analyst with Farm Credit Financial Partners Inc. in Springfield, Massachusetts. He enjoyed his job working remotely with the many coworkers and clients he interacted with daily. Rob had a passion for science fiction and was an avid reader of anything in that genre. Besides his love of reading, Rob also took pleasure in watching movies, cooking, working on Warhammer models, gaming, and spending time with his family. Rob loved to travel and was making plans with his family to
revisit Scotland and return to his favorite vacation spots in Italy.

Rob is survived by his loving partner of 25 years, Rita Ferrera-Giel in White House, Tennessee, his stepdaughter Roberta (Bobbi) Giel in Nashville, Tennessee, his sister Christine Zaveson and her family in Gridley, California, and many other family and friends across the country. Rob’s giving spirit, quick wit, and sense of humor will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Services will be private. The family will be honoring Rob’s final wishes to be cremated and have chosen to scatter ashes in Italy and Scotland at a later date.  Arrangements by Nashville Funeral and Cremation, 210 McMillin Street, Nashville, Tennessee, 37203
