Rodney Dean Gallaher, age 64 of Skippack, PA, departed this life on December 18, 2021. Born in Miami, FL, Rodney served his country as a Navy veteran out of Norfolk, VA. He also served two tours on the USS Forrestal and one tour on the USS Kennedy. He and his surviving wife, Cindy, were beloved evangelists serving over 30 years around Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. Proud members of the Philadelphia Tabernacle of David, together they served their community by ministering to the homeless, with many calling them "Poppa G" and "Momma Cindy". He was known to have a heart of gold. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cindy Gallaher; daughters, Michelle Gallaher and Danielle Gallaher; sons, Bennett Gallaher and Bryant Gallaher; and kitty, Elsa; Andy, Rebeka, and Philadelphia Tabernacle of David adult kids. Rodney will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA immediately followed by a Celebration of Life ceremony and reception held at Living Streams FC in Huntingdon Valley, PA hosted by Jamie Fitt and Philadelphia Tabernacle of David family.
