Roger Jarvis, Jr

Roger Marvin "Jett" Jarvis, Jr, age 54, passed away at this home, in Smyrna, on July 11, 2021.

He is survived by his mother & step-father: Nancy and Birger Rasmussen of Beaufort, SC; step-mother: Libbi Walter Jarvis of TX; grandmother: Helen Kachanis Jarivs Crowder of Mt. Juliet, TN; 5 step-sisters: uncles: J. Gary (Terri) Allen of Mt. Juliet and Barry Jarvis, Sr of White House, TN; aunts: Kaye Allen Fields of Mt. Juliet and Marhsa Jarvis Barnes of Lebanon, TN; and 10 cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father: Roger Marvin Jarvis, Sr; grandfathers: James W. "Buddy" Allen (founder of Buddy Allen Floor Covering Co in Donelson) and Marvin Ross Jarvis; grandmother: Ladeva Bigger Allen; aunts: Sharon Jarvis Johnson and Wanda Birdwell Jarvis; and uncle: William A "Billy" Fields.

The family will gather with friends on Friday, July 23 at Betty Lou's Lounge, 2819 Smith Springs Rd from 6:00 - 7:30 PM for a celebration of life. All are invited to share their stories, pictures and love for him during this time.

The family will gather, again to receive friends, on Saturday, July 24 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Fate Sanders Marina Pavilion.

He was truly loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
