Ronald James Keller was born February 8, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in New Castle, PA. In 1961 he graduated from Shanango High School where he was an All-star football player (tackle). Although he was offered many scholarships to different colleges to play football, he felt that the Lord was calling him into the ministry and decided to attend Eastern Nazarene College to pursue his calling. While attending E.N.C. He met his wife of 54 years Joan Eddy Gray, from Uxbridge, MA, and they married on August 16

, 1962.Ron took his first church at Reading, MA in 1966 while at the same time attending E.N.C. and working another job. He graduated with a Bachelors in Religion. In 1991, he received his Masters Degree in Theology from Trevecca Nazarene University.His passion and love for the ministry lead him to shepherd many congregations:Reading, MA 1966-1969, Sharpsville, PA 1969-1973, Kingston, NY 1973-1977,East Rockaway, NY 1977-1981, Miami Central, FL 1981-1988, Ft. Pierce, FL 1988-1993, Falmouth, MA 1993-2003, Danvers, MA 2003-2007, Coraopolis, PA 2007-2010.In addition to his wife Joan, Ron had 4 children 13 grandchildren: Steven Paul Keller (wife Heidi, children Cole & Mackenzie) Amy Joan Thompson (husband Charles, children Justin, Evan & Chase) Ruth Anne Gardner (husband Rick, children, Jessica, Hailey, Emily & Landon) Sally Marie Cherniske (husband William, children, Will, Christina, Addeline & Jonathan) and two great grandchildren: Sophie & Emma.He was proceeded in death by his parents Melvin & Mary Alice Keller. Survived by his sister Alice McFadden & Melba Keller.Also survived by much loved nieces and nephews.The legacy Ron would have wanted to leave was for all of his family and friends to know that he loved the Lord with all his heart, soul and mind and for them to have a personal relationship with the Lord. It has always been his prayer that he will be with his family in Eternity for eternity.A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at Covenant Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, 101 Faulkner Lane, Mt.
