Ronald Lee Sampson, 72 of  Goodlettsville TN passed in peace at home surrounded by his loved ones on September 23, 2021.

Ron was born Alexandria, VA and worked in Washington, DC as a federal agent from Homeland Security and before that as an agent with ATF. He was a war hero, a medic in the army, where he lost his leg in Vietnam, and was shot in the shoulder. Both times Ronnie was wounded providing life-saving measures to others. He was awarded two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts.

Ron is survived by his wife: Robin; children: Tammy, Connie, David and Christopher; step-children: Belinda Scarlata, Rebecca Scarlata, Daniel Scarlata, Regina Grower, Anthony Scarlata,  and Michael Scarlata; and his siblings: Chris Sampson and Sherry Zacharias.

Preceding Ronnie’s death were his parents: Arthur and Betty Sampson; brothers: Arthur, Mike and Wayne Sampson; and step daughter: Victoria Danico.

His family intends for his burial to be at Arlington National Cemetery.
