Rose Whitmire

Mrs. Wanda Rozedna “Rose” Whitmire, age 86, formerly of Easley, SC, passed away at Southerland Place in Brentwood in the evening hours of January 6, 2021.Rose was born in Easley, SC to Ralph Whitlock and Eula Holliday Whitlock Brown, and worked in the textiles industry from the factory floor to becoming a supervisor.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Bruce Whitmire; and is survived her her daughter and son-in-law: Rhoda and Ryan Palmer; and a grand-daughter.Graveside services for Mrs. Whitmire will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM (EST) in the Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley, SC, with local assistance provided by the Robinson Funeral Home in Easley, SC.Family and friends are requested to adhere to local, state and federal guidelines during this time.
