Sharon Eckert

Nashville - Sharon Beth Eckert, age 69, of Nashville Tn departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at her home after a short battle with cancer. Sharon was born March 17, 1950, being raised by her loving parents, Sara and the late George Eckert of Nashville. She is survived by her husband, James Dorsett; daughters Laura Toney and spouse Bryan, Grand daughters Breanna and Amanda of Gallatin, Tn.; Lee Anne Bellamy and spouse Derrick and Grand sons Mason and Luke and Grand daughter Keegan of Hanahan, SC. ; Son, Chris Dorsett and spouse Kellie of Atlanta, Ga.; Brother Mike Eckert and spouse Terri.Sharon was a warm, caring, loving and insighful woman, loving mother and wife who brought great joy to many. She will be greatly missed and leaves a large empty space in this world.There will not be a formal service, rather a celebration of life at a later date. The family requests memorials be sent to Friends of Radnor Lake, Guardian Hospice, Alive Hospice or a charity of your choice.
