Shawn Lyons

Shawn Allen Lyons, loving father, husband, brother, son, friend, animal lover and a US Army Veteran passed away Monday, January 20th surrounded by loved ones. A man of few words but rather more actions, Shawn's memory will undoubtedly persist in the hearts of those he touched with his acts of kindness which we are learning he kept quiet and hidden. A loyal friend and dedicated coworker, who cultivated a wide circle of friends across many states but always put his family first. He loved gaming, golfing and fishing but going back to Alaska to do all these with family are what he enjoyed the most. Shawn is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Clara, the apple of his eye and daughter Allyssa, Parents Chris and Karen, siblings Dawn, Mark, Chris and Shay. Nieces Maggie, Jenna, Mary, Rosalie and Yvonne. Nephews Cody, Kiki, Christopher, Jacob, Ethan, and Ian Michael, in laws Papi, Amada, Papa John, Sister in Laws Sammy, Lorena, Jessica, and Margaret, Brother in laws John, Eugene and Mario, and countless cousins and extended family members who loved him dearly. His widow also asks that each and everyone of you consider donating to your local Fire and Rescue but also plan your regular Dr visits and follow all medical directives. You are loved and needed, and preventive checks will keep the silent killers which lead to his stroke, high BP and blood sugar from taking another loved one.
