Sheila White

Sheila White, who loved to be called "Nanny" by everybody, departed this life on April 29 ^th , 2021. Sheila was born on September 27 ^th , 1953 to Marion and Donald Haggard. Sheila lived a life most didn't understand. But as the song goes and she would always say, "Let the records show, I took all the blows and did it my way." As a woman who danced to the beat of her own drum, she experienced life to the fullest: the good, the bad, and the absolutely beautiful. She fought the good fight and spent her final moments in jovial spirits. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Poole (Jessica), 3 grandchildren Justin (Tiffany), Jonathan, and Jennifer Poole along with 2 great-grandchildren Kinleigh and Ryleigh. Sheila is also survived by her brother Randy Haggard and his wife Jackie and her honorary daughter whom she loved like her own Vanessa Austin. Sheila was preceded in death by her lifelong partner, John Poole, her daughter Stephanie, and 3 brothers. There will be a private ceremony for immediate family only at Nashville Funeral and Cremation.
