Sheryl Wade

Sheryl "Sherry" Wade, 61, of Granville, TN, passed away suddenly on February 14, 2021. She was born on January 29, 1960 in Sarasota, Florida and moved to Granville in 1983.Sherry is survived by her father, Bob Knab (Grand Rapids, Michigan); her daughter Claudia Myrick (Nashville); three brothers Ray Elmore (Sarasota, FL), Jackson Knab (Knoxville), Robert Knab (Granville); two sisters Pamela (Michael) Johnson (Pulaski), Angela Emerton (Bradenton, FL); two aunts and an uncle, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Eva Knab; sister Nancy Van Riper; and nephew Joseph Van Riper. Sherry’s daughter honored her generous decision to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.Sherry truly enjoyed the simple pleasures: talking with friends and family, making people laugh, snacking, crossword puzzles, and visits from her daughter. She attended Bridge Community Church and loved to listen to worship music. She fought personal battles that most of us will never comprehend, but it did not change the fact that she loved God. She constantly searched for peace and now she has peace beyond all understanding.Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at Bridge Community Church, 110 West Hull Ave, Gainesboro, TN 38562, at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021 with Pastor Ken Lewis officiating.
