Steve Butler – NASCAR fan, chef, BBQ fanatic, corn hole king, music lover and family man ceased his battle with cancer on December 3rd, 2019 at 2:29 pm. Steve left a large and loving family that includes wife, Renee; daughters Elizabeth and Ellen; sisters Nancy, Brenda, Barbara (George), and brother Bob (Cynthia). His extended family included many nieces, nephews, in-laws, outlaws and friends. His presence here on Earth will be missed by many – Steve’s life made a difference. In Heaven, he will be joined by his father Leo, his mother Jewel, his big brother Roddy, his big sister Terri, and best bud Mike French along with more in-laws, outlaws, and friends who will welcome him home.Steve always had time and money for those in need. He counseled and directed many young men onto the right path during their times of trouble. He didn’t always follow other people’s rules, but he stayed true to his own. He was and is well loved and will be missed by so very many. Goodbye for now dearest, we shall meet again. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee331 Great Circle Road, Nashville, TN 37228

Steve LOVED to feed those in need and those with appetites large and small. He would be so pleased his memory is being honored in this way, helping others.“You see, we are here, as far as I can tell, to help each other; our brothers, our sisters, our friends, our enemies. That is to help each other and not hurt each other” – Stevie Ray Vaughan
