Steven Langland

Steven Howard Langland, age 63 of Springfield, TN, died too soon from complications of blunt force trauma to the torso and lack of sufficient medical care on November 30, 2021 at 6:17 pm at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born August 4, 1958 in Saco, Maine, the son of Howard Frederick Langland and Marie Gavett.

Steve spent his childhood and many different times of life in Colorado and later, Tennessee, as home. He was always a hard and honest worker and willing to lend a helping hand to others as a declared Christian child of God. Steve was an avid outdoorsman and expert hunter and fisherman. He was injured working on a hunting blind, preparing to do what he loved.  With many relatives, both close and distant, as well as ex partners that maintained friendship, he will be memorialized as a strong and good man. He loved all of his step-children, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and made it known to all. He touched many hearts, made many smile and even more laugh and will be missed greatly.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Barbara Ann, Judith and Catherine Marie, as well as granddaughter Kelsea Burham. Survived by his brothers Robert and John, Step-daughter Rosetta Greninger of Greeley, CO. (step-granddaughters Miranda Greninger, Makayla Burham, Mackenzie Morton and step-great granddaughter Nevaeh Canchola), Step-daughter Kimberley Martin of Leesville, LA. (step-grandchildren Keasha Martin, Justin Martin and Denver Martin), Daughter Doris Langland of Greeley, CO., Daughter Denise Thompson of Greeley, CO. (grandchildren Ashley Burham ,Ty Thompson and Great Grandson, Beckett Bunn), Daughter Marie Sheehan of Goodlettsville, TN (granddaughters Gracie Sheehan, Sierra Sheehan and Miracle Jordan), Daughter Angela Odle, son-in-law Joshua Odle of Greenbrier, TN. (grandchildren Aubrey Odle & Alexander Odle), Daughter Stephine Langland of Seneca, MO. (grandchildren Haley Howland, Christian Walker & Anna Walker), Son Steven Langland, daughter-in-law Atasha Langland of Coopertown, TN (grandchildren Giovanna Langland and Remington Langland), & Son Jeremiah Langland of Longmont, CO. (granddaughter Miya Langland).

A celebration of life and memorial party was held at his favorite location in Tennessee where he hunted on Thursday, December 2, 2021. All direct children except the youngest child and the oldest step child were able to attend and rejoice his crossing over to be with our Lord.
