Steven Wiss

On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, Steven Wiss, loving husband to the late Susan Wiss and loving father of two children, passed away after a two year battle with Multiple Myeloma at the age of 56.Steve was born on December 9, 1962 in St. Louis, MO to David and Suzanne Wiss. He received his Bachelor's degree in business from Southwest Missouri State University, and had a career in Sales for 30 plus years in St. Louis, MO. On April 19, 1991 he married Susan Foster. They raised a daughter and a son, Stephanie and Logan.Steve had a passion for fishing, boating and hunting. He was also a member of the fraternity Tau Kappa Epsilon and enjoyed hanging out and going on fun trips with his fraternity brothers. He was known for his lighthearted sense of humor, boisterous laugh, and the ability to tell a great joke or story. There was never a dull moment around Steve and his laugh and smile were infectious.Steve was preceded in death by his spouse Susan Wiss, father Dave Wiss, and grandmother Juanita Wiss. He is survived by his two children, Stephanie and Logan, mother Suzanne Wiss, brother Thomas Wiss, sister in law Tracie Wiss, aunts, uncles, and several cousins.A Visitation and Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Assumption Church 403 N. Main Street, O'Fallon MO 63366.
