Mrs. Susan Anne Norman-Haney, age 69 of Madison, passed away May 12, 2015.Susan was born August 28, 1945 in Nashville and was the daughter of Thomas Edward and Robbie Miller Tanner.She attended St. Cecelia School and earned her Associate's Degree from Aquinas College. Susan was a remarkable lady. She battled MS for the past 45 years, but never complained about her illness. She loved children and committed her life to teaching. She had been a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at St. Joseph and St. Edward Schools.Her musical talent was also a gift she shared - playing the organ in church services. She also enjoyed playing the piano. In her free time she enjoyed crossword puzzles and making beautiful wreathes.Susan is survived by her four children: Teri (Don) Cox, Kenneth (Angie) Norman, Christi (Shawn) Everingham and Will (Sarah) Norman; 9 grandchildren; and a brother: Michael Tanner.The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at St. Edwards Church, 188 Thompson Ln, Nashville. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, beside her husband: Kenneth Wayne Norman, who preceded her in death on April 8, 1992.
