Terry R. Bell

Terry Roger Bell, 71, died Friday Feb 16,2024 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, Tn.

Terry was born Apr 20,1952 in Port Hueneme, Ca. to Gerald Bell and Lois(Dalzell)

Bell. Terry grew up in Grand Forks, ND, graduating from Grand Forks Central High School in 1970. He left Grand Forks the day he graduating to pursue a career in 

music.  

Terry was a talented songwriter, guitarist, and performer. He was in many bands over the years. He lived and shared his music and positive attitude in California, New York, Oregon and Colorado.  He made many lifelong friends wherever he lived.

Terry moved to Nashville, Tn in 1988. He worked as a performer and as an extra in films and videos.  He also worked at Gibson fixing guitars.  Terry had a successful career as a songwriter.  He worked for many years at Gateway Entertainment collaborating on many hit songs.

Terry loved Jesus, his family and his many friends and fellow musicians.  His kindness and positive attitude will be missed.  Terry struggled with health problems due to Long COVID since Dec 2020. His faith in Jesus sustained him through this struggle and was encouraging and uplifting to all who knew him.

He is survived by his sisters, Diane (Mike Brossart) and Barbara (Steve) Rogalla, his nephew Jason and niece Amy (Rod) Privratsky and five great nephews and nieces.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents and many other relatives.

Memorial services for Terry will be held Feb 22, 2024 at Belmont Church, Nashville and will be live streamed on their YouTube channel Belmont.TV. Burial will be at the Walhalla, ND cemetery in the spring.
