Thomas Settle

August 25, 1943 — March 8, 2018

Thomas Michael Settle of Goodlettesville, TN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the age of 74. He was born August 25, 1943, in St. Louis, MO to John H. and Helen (Massman) Settle. He grew up in Denver, CO and later moved to Birmingham, MI. Tom had a wonderful sense of humor, was an avid woodworker, and was a World War II history buff. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; two brothers, James (Cathy) Settle and Jack Settle; a sister, Mary (Louis) Weinand. Survivors include his loving partner, Sarah Moore; two daughters, Jennifer (Frank) Cusenza, Patricia Molnar; stepdaughter, Lisa (Lou) Hyres; stepson Adam (Michelle) Moore; six grandchildren Vincent, Jack, Julia, Jessica, Sarah, and Sammy; one great grandchild, Charlotte; 3 sisters Patricia (Carl) Pugh, Kathleen (R. William) Schooley, Colleen (Rick) Johnson; 1 brother Michael (Glenda) Settle; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a future date: details to be determined.
