Tony Lee Hughes

The staff of Nashville Funeral and Cremation is honored to serve the Hughes family however saddened to note the passing of Tony Lee Hughes, age 68 of Glasgow, KY. 

He leaves behind many cherished friendships he made along  the way in his younger years in Peoria Heights, Illinois, during his service at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 30 years, followed by several years at Wolf Hollow Archery Shop where he was able to share his passion for archery and bow hunting.

Also surviving are his wife of 35 years, Michelle, his son Anthony (Tammy) Hughes and Daughter Beth Hughes both of Peoria, Il, along with grandchildren Kylei, Emily and Zeth 

Preceding him in death are his parents Albert and Barbara Hughes and brothers Michael (Terry) Hughes and John Hughes. 

We are extremely grateful to the physicians and nursing staff  for the compassion and respect shown to Tony during his care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and at Alive Hospice of Nashville, Tennessee. 

A casual Celebration of Life will be held on October 28th, 2023 from 1-3 pm at Spring Bay American Legion Post 1115, 500 Legion Lane, Spring Bay, Il.
