Tove Hicks

Nashville - Tove Marie Hicks passed away unexpectantly in the early hours of Sunday, September 22 nd , 2019. It is believed to be due to natural causes. She is preceded in death by her mother, Zona Hicks (Horswill). She is survived by her two children, Davis Klund and Darbi Klund. She is also survived by her sister, Michelle Horswill-Johnston, husband Steve, and their two children: Preston and Garrison.Tove will be remembered for her laugh, thoughtful disposition, and infectious humor. She was a strong-willed and brilliant woman who saw great success over her years in the newspaper industry. She enjoyed reading and writing; She even has written three books of her own. If she could describe herself in one word, it would be “rambunctious” , but she was much more than that. Full of life and eager to help, Tove left a mark on everyone she met, and filled voids they didn't know they had. The family would like to thank all of those who had helped her along the way, she was truly loved far and wide. “For now she is gone, and I pray, dear God, for the strength to remember she has not gone far.” (Marianne Williams; Pearls of the Spirit) A small memorial for family and close friends will be held at Trout Run Church in Black River Falls, WI on Saturday, October 12 th at 2pm.
