Velma Dedmon

Velma Patricia Cairns Dedmon (Pat), age 60, passed away on July 23, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Betty and James William Cairns. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 31, 1954. She graduated from DuPont High School and lived in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee most of her adult life. Pat dearly loved life. Fishing, riding, being with family and friends. She loved her horses, and her animals. Pat held, and will continue to hold, a favorite place in the hearts of all her knew her. Pat's laugh and love will be keenly missed by her sisters; Deborah Ford (Frank), Susan Whatley (Doug), Jennifer Baker (Eddie), and Linda Hassell, her nieces; Christy Pate (William), Becky Baker, Lisa Filipkowski (David), Cindy Collier, Mary Elizabeth Hassell, her nephews; James Dolan, Steven Hassell, Jr, and James Hassell, along with her beloved great-nieces, great-nephews, many cousins and many, many friends.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 4th, 10:30 am, at St. Stephens Catholic Community Church, Lebanon Pike, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be held Monday night, August 3rd, 6-8 pm at St. Stephens Catholic Community Church.
