Our beloved Walter Samuel Henry Watson was born on May 2,1941 to the loving late Ellis Todd and Hannah Mae McCord of Nashville, TN. He departed this life and entered eternal rest.Walter received his education in Middle Tennessee, as a graduate of Haynes High School. Upon graduating, he worked for over fifty years in construction as a skilled brick mason. His career allowed him to travel to a variety of places throughout the country.As a young man realizing the need for a relationship with the Lord, Walter confessed his faith in Christ. Everyone knows Walter Watson to have a helping heart, caring spirit, and a wonderful sense of humor. He will always be remembered for his love of life and family.When God calls, we must answer! Walter Watson answered the Master's call on July 11, 2018 to await a new resurrection. He preceded in death by grandson: Chance Thaddius Stewart, brothers: John Henry, Ralph C., George Orestes Watson, and William "Billy Boy" McCord Jr., and sister Elizabeth Thedora Lindsley Scott.Many are left to cherish a surplus of fond memories including his loyal wife, Carolyn Stewart-Watson of forty-three years, children: Sherry, Betina, Carlos (Melody), and Latres, grandchildren: Kenneth Jr., Ashley, Carlos Jr., Mason, Caleb, Harmony, Cole, and Love Joy, sisters: Ernestjean Jones and Debrah Ann Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
