Wanda Lusher

Mrs. Wanda Kay Lusher, age 70 of Dickson, graduated from this life, to be ever present with our Lord, on September 12, 2015 at NHC-Dickson.A native of Goodlettsville, TN, she was the daughter of Delmas and Portia Green Russell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers: Alec, Philip, Roger and David Russell; four sisters: Trudy Pruitt, Clara Jo Tally, Janice Eidson and Geneva Sorrells.She is survived by her husband: Rev. Jim Lusher; children: Jason Reed and Yvette Reed; and 4 siblings: Norma Holt, Frankie Koehn, Delmas Russell and Vicki Higgins.Wanda loved people and never met a stranger. Although she was plain spoken, her words were filled with compassion. She was a dear friend to those around her and was always ready to help others.Each day, when her health allowed, Wanda began with Bible study and prayer. She spent time with her Lord first to prepare her for the opportunities of the day. Her passion for her faith will be the most memorable aspect of her life.She loved the times of pastoring with her husband, leading a Bible study or teaching a Bible class.Her family will gather for visitation from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22 at the Christian Faith Center in Dickson.
