Nashville singer/songwriter William Gladstone “Will” Butler, III, age 71 of Nashville, died November 21, 2015 at the Residence at Alive Hospice.With military honors provided by the United States Army, Will will be laid to rest at Nashville National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM.Will was born February 9, 1944 in Miami, FL to the late William Gladstone Butler Jr and Carol Elizabeth Helton Butler. He served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1970.He was the founder and president of the Nashville Musician’s Club and founding president of the Christ Church of the Musical Sojourn. Will was a talented singer/songwriter and shared his talents in several Music Row festivals over the years. He lived in the heart of Music City for over 20 years, keeping his finger on the pulse of the town.He was a photographer, Preditors and Titans fan, and an ardent patriot!He has no immediate survivors.NASHVILLE FUNERAL AND CREMATION 615-256-1605
