William Wright

William (Bill) Shannon Wright Jr., 74, passed away peacefully in his home in Old Hickory, TN, on August 23, 2021, after a lengthy illness. He was born August 9, 1947, in Nashville, TN, and was preceded in death by his father, William S. Wright Sr., his mother, Mary Evadean Wright, and sister, Aloma Dean Hornal.

William, or “Budge,” as he was known in his younger years, will be remembered by his family as a hard worker and a loving provider; a man who enjoyed playing music with his friends, and loved to live life.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra McCord Wright, his daughter, Pamela Propes and husband, Duane, two grandchildren, Corey Wright and Kinley Propes, and great-granddaughters, Scarlett and Kensington Wright, of Mt. Juliet, TN; his sisters, Mary Frances Peek and husband, Paul, and Dawn Fann of Burns, TN; his brother, Brooks Wright and wife, Diane, of Patagonia, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
