Willie Harrison

Willie Alvin Harrison, known as "Drifter", age 79 died May 6, 2019 at the Tennessee State Veteran's Home in Murfreesboro. A native of Nashville, he was the son of the late Dewey Franklin Harrison and Alice Buttery Harrison Smith. Drifter earned his nickname while serving his country in the United States Army.In addition to his parents, Drifter was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Billy, Dewey and Elroy Harrison. He is survived by a daughter: Shea Harrison; 2 sisters: Peggy (Monte) Manor and Frankie Tidwell; a granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews & their children. With Military Honors provided by the United States Army, Drifter was laid to rest at Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery on Friday, May 24, 2019.
