Zachary Cole Beatty

Zachary Cole Beatty, age 34, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Zac was born on Monday, May 14, 1990.

Zac is survived by his parents, Gregory and Denise Beatty of White House, Tennessee; one sister, Ashley R. West (spouse Tim) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one brother, Kyle R. Beatty of Nashville, Tennessee; best friend, Kevin Slater of Lexington, Kentucky; his cat Figaro and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces and cousins.

Zac graduated from Lee University of Cleveland, Tennessee in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Performing Arts and a Minor Degree in American Sign Language. Aside from his professional education he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing piano, singing, working out, fitness, watching/reading Tim Burton, Harry Potter books and movies, and drawing. Additionally, he was an avid traveler, having visited to London, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hawaii over the last years.

Zac always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude in life despite the difficulties that he encountered with his cancer diagnosis.

A Memorial Service to honor Zac is being planned for November 9th, 2024, Nashville, TN.

Zac will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. His last words communicated were:

“Love conquers all”
